This painting started as an exercise in using my usual landscape pallet to create fairly random shapes. It began to develop into something that looked like cliffs and the sea. I didn't want that so I turned it upside down and carried on adding colours. It occured to me that it then looked like a sunlit garden path with flowers either side. So I went with that and added a couple of blackbird shapes. Acrylic. 50x40cm.
