I have included this as an experiment because it is not my usual style. It began as a picture painted on site in one session as part of a local Big Art day. The idea was to create an image of central Swansea and the pictures were displayed at the Grand Theatre at the end of the day. A canvas of this size is probably over ambitious for such a timescale and my painting needed more work. I, therefore, tried working over the surface with thick impasto and adding figures. I am not sure what I think of the result but here it is.
