This painting was based on one I painted on site but which hadn't really worked. I took a new canvas, positioned the rocks higher up to provide space for the beach and repainted it using brilliant blues and using pallet knife and spattering as well as brushes. I added the figure a day or two later to add interest and scale. It was selected for the Gynn Vivian Open Exhibition in 2020. Acrylic on canvas. Sold.
